Short Bio
I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Cyber and Network Security with the School of Engineering and Information Technology (SEIT) at University of New South Wales (UNSW Canberra) Australia. I am also a member of UNSW Institute for Cyber Security (UNSW IFCYBER). My research centres around Cybersecurity and Computer Networking; spans from Systems and Network Security, Adversarial Machine Learning, Cyber Physical Security and Data Security to Network Traffic Analytics, Software-defined Networking (SDN), Programmable Networking and Time Sensitive Networking (TSN).
I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at UNSW Sydney, Australia in 2018 and my M.Sc. in Information Technology specialising in Electronics and Communication systems at the University of Turku, Finland in 2013. During my PhD studies, I was a member of Networked Systems and Security Group (NetSys) at the School of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Information Security and Privacy Group at Data61 | CSIRO. Prior commencing my Ph.D. studies, I was a research assistant at Software Engineering Laboratory (SElab) in the Department of Information Technologies, at Åbo Akademi University, Finland. Before moving into research, I worked nearly 10 years in telecommunication industry, where I developed various telephony signalling protocols such as SS7 and V5 interface.
